Mehiläinen Healthcare, Lahti

During the renovation carried out in two stages, the six floors of the building built for the Lahti Deaconess Foundation in 1947 were repaired for the use of Mehiläinen Oy Lahti Medical Center. According to the internal space changes, a new external exit stairway was also built in the building in accordance with the requirements of current regulations, and the building's technical systems were improved.

The renovation took into account the facilities used throughout the project and other actors in the building, in addition to Mehiläinen. As part of the basic improvement, two floors of the previous nursing home use were converted into Mehiläinen's use into medical center facilities, which will house a new dental reception facility, physiotherapy facilities, and part of the occupational health care facilities.
